I realise this is something I may have to mention every Thursday, but I really don't like dealing with 2 third form classes in a row, followed by stroppy fourth form form class for lunch eating. The rudeness of kids really gets to me, especially when it is directed at other kids who are actually making an effort.
Today I took one of my classes for a march around the school courtyard before I let them into class - just to get some fresh air for me, and calm the little monkeys down. It was half successful, in that I was a lot calmer when we got into class.
But now I have only one class of fifth formers before the end of the day, and I have a 50 minute breather before that. Yay!
