Yes indeed, it is a birthday day. Much celebrating must ensue. Debbie is off on a course, so she doesn't have to see her kids today. Highly fortunate timing!
Meanwhile, I am at school, and not only is today my busy day in terms of classes, but I've drawn the short straw for lunch-time detention duty. And there's a kid who I had an argument with in English detention yesterday. Two days of detention in a row! Such fun. You meet the nicest kids in detention.
